Job Title: Seasonal Tax Preparer / Accountant
Location: Peru
Schedule: Full-Time preferred (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM)
Duration: February–April (Tax Season)
Start Date: Right away OR mid January for training
About the Role
A well-established accounting firm with a strong client base of 700+ tax clients during tax season. Looking for extra support this year to handle the busy season.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process all types of tax returns (individual, corporate, fiduciary).
- Work with assigned clients (divided among tax reps) to ensure accurate and timely filings.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and general accounting tasks.
- Collaborate with team members
- Learn and adapt quickly during training in January to be ready for February peak season.
What We’re Looking For
- Tax knowledge required: Basic understanding of tax returns and accounting principles.
- Experience: Prior work in accounting or tax preparation (does not need to be a CPA).
- Ability to handle high-volume work during a fast-paced season.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with tax software (Laser Tax Program experience is a plus but not required).
- Comfortable with most standard tax programs.
- Previous experience in mid-sized or larger firms (not small office environments).
Compensation
