Job Responsibilities :

Preparation and review of finance and accounting overall function including monthly management report with analysis report, required schedules, bank reconciliation, and inter-company reconciliation.

  • Assisting on day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and general ledger activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial processes, streamline operations, and drive efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Ensure timely & accurate generation of monthly/quarterly/annual accounts, quarterly & yearly Performance Reports, with proper analysis of schedules and analysis with the assistance of subordinates
  • Monitoring Debtor & Creditor aging overdue.
  • Assist in liaison with external auditors to finalize the annual audit and ensure the statutory accounts are promptly submitted.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties
  • Identify, report, and resolve accounting related operational issues, discrepancies, and abnormal transactions.
  • To ensure accounting records are properly maintained and reconciled.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of report to management.
  • Knowledge of account payables, receivable and general accounting procedures.
  • Ensure all transactions and intercompany billings are accurately accounted. Identify and follow up any un-reconciled items.

Pre-Requisites :

  • Possess minimum 3 years’ working experience in financial and management reporting.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
  • Strategic thinking but also hands on and able to deep dive into details as required.
  • Great communication skills and able to present complex issues in a simple and structured manner.
  • Able to think and work systematically to identify and recommend process changes to improve work effectiveness and efficiencies, and controls.
  • Ability to work with tight time frames, assist in direct, supervise and coach subordinates, multi-task, manage resource usage efficiently and priorities task for timely completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products is a must (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Global/Regional Finance for compliance, accounting processes, systems and control environment is an advantage.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, meticulous and good time management with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure and can identify and prioritize critical tasks
