Position Summary
This role is for a researcher who thrives on ambiguity and is driven to architect novel solutions for complex, often poorly defined clinical problems. As a Grad Hourly, you will do more than just run models; you will be expected to explore data to uncover new research questions, formulate unique approaches to solve them, and translate your work into high-impact publications. We are looking for a creative and relentless problem-solver who can navigate the path from a raw dataset to a robust, publication-ready result.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct fundamental and innovative research in applied machine learning for healthcare.
Formulate approaches to solve complex problems using well-defined algorithms and data sources.
Develop, implement, and rigorously evaluate machine learning models on large-scale health datasets.
Perform data exploration to uncover new questions and opportunities within clinical problem areas.
Maintain clean, version-controlled code and create reproducible research workflows.
Contribute to the writing and preparation of manuscripts for publication in top-tier journals and conferences.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
