Practice Supervisor Position Summary

The primary duty of the Cardiovascular Surgery Practice Supervisor is to manage, coordinate, direct, and supervise overall operations at the practice. Duties include overseeing work queues, reconciling charges, reconciling Axiom and processing payroll. The Practice Supervisor will also complete provider call and office schedules, and apply appropriate templates in EPIC. This position will orient and train support staff and providers to assure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures of the physician group. They will also oversee patient services and implement standard work policies for employees.

Practice Supervisor Position Requirements

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

License and/or Certification

  • Medical Assistant Certification required.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years in a physician’s office required.
  • Experience supervising a physician’s practice preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office computer programs, practice management systems and spreadsheets preferred.
  • Experience with medical terminology preferred.

Practice Supervisor Benefits
