Position Summary:

The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of product distribution. This position oversees daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Lead is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and collaborating with clinical departments to meet patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics (receiving, shipping, returns).
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies to hospital departments.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

Inventory Control

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
  • Maintain inventory management systems
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock records.
  • Track expiration dates and rotate stock accordingly.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on SOPs, safety, and compliance.
  • Provide performance feedback and support staff development.
  • Responsible for overseeing the productivity of teammates located in the warehouse, including receiving and delivery truck drivers.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership
  • Support special projects such as new facility openings or system upgrades.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the point of contact between Manager, Supply Chain, Nursing, CSPD, and other departments.
  • Respond to urgent supply requests and troubleshoot delivery issues

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
