REQ13516 Operation Junior Technician (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Establishing and performing underwater show cue tracks related to scenery movement, performer support and safety. Maintain pool related systems and Aquatics related equipment. Supporting other department to work and safety underwater as well as supporting other department work when there’s no water in the pool.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain safe and consistent operations for show rehearsals and performances.
  • Perform show cue tracks, and organize their teams assigned cue tracks.
  • Maintain and oversee the enforcement of safe diving practices.
  • Work with performers until they feel comfortable working in a water environment.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor, Head of Department and Assistant Head of

Department which it includes assisting another department.

  • Assist in inspecting, assembling, and maintaining all aspects of equipment for training,

rehearsals, performances, and special events; maintain all dive gear.

  • Participate and supervise in pre-set, performance, and post-set of show equipment.
  • Assist the Aquatic Team in reaching and maintaining the Aquatic department.
  • Support their assigned team in the safe execution of their duties.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Ability to learn or update lifesaving skills and/or become CPR/first responder;
  • Ability to stay calm and calm others in emergency situations.
  • Willingness of adapting leadership program and coaching skills.
  • Must possess problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven talents in safety and teamwork.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to withstand long exposure to water.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills / Competencies:

  • Professional level diving certification with a minimum of Dive Master Level for

recreational diving.

  • Fluent in the English language
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows and MS office systems.
  • Basic knowledge Scuba diving equipment maintenance and repairs.
