Research Scientist, Assistant Professor
The University of Utah Health Sciences is seeking a Research Scientist at the rank of Assistant Professor (Career Track) to join the Division of Transplantation Surgery. This career-track faculty position offers a unique opportunity to lead innovative research within the Division of Transplantation Surgery. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Department of Surgery’s LabCore and the Huntsman Cancer Institute Laboratories, as part of a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, to advance science in transplantation and hepatobiliary disease.
The division is a highly cohesive team of abdominal transplant surgeons and advanced practice clinicians committed to delivering high-quality, value-driven patient care, advancing education, and driving innovation through basic science, clinical, and health services research. Faculty also play a central role in caring for patients with benign and malignant hepatic and biliary diseases in partnership with the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
