Position Summary

The Senior Treasury Accountant is a critical role within our finance team, responsible for managing the company’s cash flow, investments, and banking relationships. This position will play a key role in optimizing our financial resources, mitigating risk, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

Cash Management:

  • Oversee daily cash positioning and forecasting to optimize cash balances.
  • Manage bank relationships and negotiate optimal terms.
  • Implement and maintain efficient cash forecasting models.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts.

Investments:

  • Manage the company’s investment portfolio, including fixed income and short-term investments.
  • Conduct investment analysis and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with investment policies and regulations.

Treasury Operations:

  • Process wire transfers, ACH payments, and other treasury transactions.
  • Manage foreign exchange transactions.
  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany loans and transfers.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to treasury activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess treasury risks, such as liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Monitor market trends and economic indicators to anticipate potential risks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and investments.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA or CTP certification preferred.
