  • Perform intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring accurate recording, documentation, and timely resolution of outstanding balances.
  • Support month-end closing activities, reviewing and closing financial records, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance and internal controls, maintaining adherence to IFRS/local GAAP, and support internal and external audits with documentation and responses.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries (accruals, provisions, reclassifications), ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Contribute to standardization and automation initiatives, driving process improvements that strengthen internal controls and enhance efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, preferably in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (IFRS / Local GAAP) and ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • A mindset of continuous improvement and willingness to take on new responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in GL accounting within SSC/BPO environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP fixed asset and intercompany modules.
  • Familiarity with automation or reporting tools such as Power BI.
