Job Title: Solution Architect – AI/ML, Semiconductor PLM, and Full Stack Technologies

Location: [Cologne, Germany]

Employment Type: 12+ / Contract

Experience: 10+ years (with 3+ years in Solution Architecture)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in AI/ML tools, Semiconductor Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and modern enterprise technologies. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, data-driven, and intelligent solutions that integrate AI capabilities into PLM, enterprise systems, and web applications.Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end solutions leveraging AI/ML, Data Science, NLP, or Generative AI to optimize business processes and product lifecycle workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI Engineers, Data Scientists, PLM Engineers, and Developers) to translate business needs into scalable architectures.
• Architect and develop robust backend services using J2EE/Spring Boot, integrated with Elasticsearch for intelligent search and analytics.
• Work closely with semiconductor PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Agile PLM, ENOVIA, or equivalent) to integrate AI-driven insights into product lifecycle stages.
• Design and guide development of modern front-end applications using Angular or React for seamless user experiences.
• Ensure AI models are productionized effectively, including model deployment, monitoring, and integration into enterprise environments.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for AI, data, and application layers.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for applying Generative AI and Data Science techniques in engineering and product management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Core Architecture: Enterprise/Solution architecture experience across AI/ML and application systems.
• AI/ML & Data Science: Hands-on knowledge of Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NLP frameworks, GenAI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Semiconductor PLM Systems: Exposure to PLM tools like Teamcenter, Agile PLM, ENOVIA, or similar.
• Backend Development: Strong in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices.
• Search & Indexing: Experience in Elasticsearch or Solr for enterprise search and analytics solutions.
• Frontend: Proficient in Angular or React, with good understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiar with AWS / Azure / GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Data Integration: Experience in ETL, Data Pipelines, or Data Lake Architectures is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or bachelor’s in computer science, Data Science, or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in Semiconductor Domain, particularly integrating AI with PLM systems.
• Prior experience working with Generative AI solutions (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar).
• Knowledge of enterprise integration frameworks and security best practices.
