A Snapshot of Your Day

As a test engineer, your day begins with the review of the equipment to be tested on the day. You will work closely with mechanical assembly, electrical, engineering, Quality and the PM team to ensure testing is on schedule.

You will test SF6 insulated circuit breakers. As part of the field test team, you will work to solve the various problems that prevent proper circuit breaker operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execution and evaluation of routine and acceptance tests on electrical power circuit breakers.
• Testing and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production processes; interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.
• Release of equipment in acceptance tests with LAPEM, third party or end customer.
• Elaboration of finished product reports.
• Use and management of electrical measurement equipment.
• Communication with the production lines for the delivery of the finished product.

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 or more years of experience in the electrical sector.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings.
• Knowledge in electrical equipment, multimeters, ammeters, microhmmeters, etc.
• Elaboration of presentations for lessons learned to the electrical assembly part.
• Working proficiency in English (both verbal and written)
