The Sr. Financial Analyst will support our procurement operation by optimizing sourcing strategies and financial performance. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing procurement data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving cost savings in alignment with business objectives
This position will serve our Rheem Enterprise office, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).
- Serve as a financial business partner to the Procurement organization
- Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, risks, and trends within the manufacturing operations.
- Track net sourcing productivity – savings from cost improvement projects, non-commodity related price increase, commodity driven price fluctuations, surcharges, freight, tariffs, etc.
- Forecast impact from commodity price index fluctuations.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to support supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Purchase Price Variance and Invoice Price Variance weekly reviews, analysis, and surcharge accruals.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, pricing, and market trends to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Develop financial models and forecasts related to sourcing activities, ensuring alignment with budget and financial goals.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management on sourcing performance and financial impact.
- Partner on special projects, key business initiatives, and supplier proposals, performing financial analysis to inform objective decision-making that serves the global procurement strategy.
- Participate and support the annual cost roll process
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes and supplier collaboration.
- Other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain. within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with the preparation of business cases and investment ROI analysis
- Strong business acumen, strong knowledge of business analysis, accounting and finance fundamentals.
- Experience building and maintaining complex financial models and ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Establish effective working relationships with all levels to successfully lead, influence, and innovate.
- Demonstration of sense of urgency, accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Demonstration of the highest level of integrity and trust
- Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and analytical platforms
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a multi-plant, high mix manufacturing environment, (HVAC or water heating industry is a plus)
- Advanced excel skills
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration
