Our Core Functional Areas for GBSC-APAC Hub:
1. GBS-APAC Finance: Established in Kuala Lumpur in early 2017, our GBS-APAC Finance team manages comprehensive financial transactions for Air Liquide entities across the Asia Pacific region. This includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Collections, Treasury Operations, General Ledger management, accounting reports, and closing activities. Our highly experienced finance professionals are committed to Continuous Improvement Projects, leveraging new and emerging technologies and automation to drive operational and cost efficiencies. We are progressively expanding our expertise to encompass a broader scope of activities, including advanced reporting and IFRS 16 implementation.
2. GBS-APAC Human Resources: Based in Kuala Lumpur, our GBS-APAC HR team is the central hub for HR support for Air Liquide's Asia Pacific colleagues. We ensure the efficient delivery of key HR services, including HR Service Desk support, Employee Lifecycle Data Management, Payroll Operations, Learning & Development, International Mobility and more. A dynamic, cross-cultural, and youthful team dedicated to fostering a positive employee journey through well-defined structures, while continuously seeking ways to improve and harmonize our business processes.

APAC Procurement: The APAC Procurement teams strategically partner with the business and our suppliers to lead the industry. The team focuses on delivering sustainable value, fostering innovation, and building competitive ecosystems for Air Liquide and our customers. APAC Procurement team’s responsibilities include category management, developing and implementing sourcing strategies and plans, performing bidding events, negotiating purchase contracts, and supporting stakeholders in ongoing supplier management. This ensures we achieve our sourcing and contracting objectives and implement effective Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) strategies.
