How you’ll contribute

A Clinic Medical Assistant (MA)/Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Wound Care Clinic who excels in this role:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

• Current CMA certification required
• OR
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician Certification required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required within 6 months of hire (except for PRN staff)
• Tuition assistance available for CMA training and examination expenses
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (available upon hire)
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
