The Research Associate will join a collaborative team in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, contributing to exciting research projects that explore the host response to infections. This role offers the opportunity to actively engage in meaningful scientific inquiry by conducting experiments under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI). The position provides hands-on experience in a dynamic research environment, with the chance to contribute to discoveries that advance our understanding of infectious diseases. Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of research experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Previous experience in experimental systems related to mutagenesis, homologous/non-homologous recombination, and deaminase activities.
Physical Requirements:
Needs to be reasonably active and able to be on their feet approximately 80% of the day.
