About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and proactive Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is highly task-focused, with an emphasis on content creation, content scheduling, and day-to-day community support across our social platforms. You’ll be supporting campaigns with engaging content, supporting the team in day to day operations and building authentic connections with our audience.

This position reports to the Director of Social Media and MUST BE based in Los Angeles, CA.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Content Creation & Publishing

• Support the development of creative assets tailored to each platform.
• Schedule and publish daily content across social channels, ensuring brand alignment and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the team and assist with capturing and editing social-first content, including behind-the-scenes, reactive, event coverage, and trend-inspired posts.

Community Engagement

• Escalate community feedback and sentiment trends to the Community Specialist.
• Engage with relevant creators, partners, and community accounts to amplify reach.
• Support surprise and delight initiatives, helping spotlight active followers and subscribers.

Task & Campaign Support

• Execute day-to-day social media tasks, including post scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Support campaign launches, influencer collaborations, and live event coverage.
• Maintain organized content calendars and ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Analytics & Insights

• Monitor IPSY social channels and assist with tracking performance of posts and community engagement metrics.
• Compile weekly/monthly reports to inform optimization and highlight wins.

What We Are Looking For:

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (internships included).
• Strong writing skills with an eye for detail and a creative tone.
• Hands-on experience with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X/Twitter.
• Familiarity with tools such as Dash Social and Tribe Dynamics are a bonus
• Comfortable with basic photo/video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, etc)
• Passion for digital culture, trends, and online community building.
• Must be based in Los Angeles, CA.

Salary Range:

$68,000—$74,000 USD
