Learning & Development Coordinator - (250002SH)
Description
The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator will support the successful implementation of various training programs that are consistent with the organization's talent development strategies. Will act as a coordinator and liaison within the L&D team, performing a broad range of learning administration duties. Will support corporate-level training initiatives related to legal compliance, onboarding, performance management, and others as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Education, Human Resources, or related field (Preferred)
Minimum Work Experience
2 years Providing logistic support for instructor-led training (Required)
1 year Performing administrative duties in learning management systems (LMS) (Required)
1 year Developing high-quality training materials (e.g., PPT, job aid, facilitators guide) for learning programs (Preferred)
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Proven skills in training event planning, set up, and support.
- Proven ability to support self-paced and instructor-led training course administration in an LMS. Specific experience with Workday Learning is a plus.
- Proven proficiency with MS Office.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality training materials.
- Resilient and adaptable when faced with change or new priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate well with small teams.
- Proficiency with Articulate 360 suite or similar e-learning authoring tool is a plus.
- Experience coordinating with training-related vendors is a plus.
Functional Accountabilities
Learning Event Support
- In collaboration with the L&D team, effectively schedule instructor-led training events throughout the organization. This may include maintaining a central training calendar and communicating with/sending invitations to appropriate learners.
- Coordinate with the L&D team and instructors throughout the organization to offer varying degrees of support for their training logistics. This may include printing and distributing training materials, catering, collecting rosters, and assisting instructors during in-person or virtual learning events.
- Coordinate logistics with vendors who will be providing training for the organization.
- Record instructor-led training attendance in the LMS.
Training Administration
- Provide LMS administration support for various learning activities. This includes the ability to set up course frameworks, upload Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) e-learning files, automate learning assignments, create and automate reports, and provide limited technical support to others.
- Develop and provide high-quality, printable training materials as assigned by L&D team members.
- Update relevant SharePoint pages (e.g., training hubs, knowledge bases, catalogs), keeping material up-to-date and easy-to-access for the learners.
- Contribute to developing larger learning solutions by developing components (e.g., PowerPoint files, e-learning courseware) as assigned by L&D team members. This can be learned on the job as a growth opportunity.
