This is a full-time position working 40 hours, day shift. No call or holidays.
Supports the surgical team before, during and after surgery with primary focus on orthopedic procedures. Assists with operating room preparation by cleaning, procuring equipment, opening sterile supplies and working with central sterile. Provides transportation and needed assistance with patient care. Assists Surgical Techs and Nurses with various assigned duties. Works as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, surgical technologists and other surgical personnel.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
