Manager-Accounts Payable

Our Manager-Accounts Payable manages our purchase to payment process to ensure the accuracy of our company spend. This is considered a "Hybrid" position with hours worked in the office and from your remote-work location.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing purchase orders and vendor payments, ensuring alignment with budgets, contracts, and project approvals.
  • Resolving invoice and PO exceptions daily to maintain smooth financial operations.
  • Driving vendor portal adoption and digital invoicing to streamline procurement processes.
  • Maintaining vendor master data and internal catalogs to ensure accuracy and negotiated pricing.
  • Monitoring KPIs and performing reconciliations to support compliance and financial integrity.
  • Administering procurement-related systems, including travel/expense and record retention platforms.
  • Supporting enterprise vendor relationships and facilitating cross-functional coordination.
  • Assisting with budgeting, reporting, and 1099 verification to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Delivering insights through spend analysis, vendor consolidation, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Contributing to special projects and initiatives led by senior leadership.

What Do You Need for this Position?

What You Need for this Position

  • Associates degree in Accounting for finance required
  • Minimum of 2 years related accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel required
  • Understanding of general financial accounting, as well as financial reporting, required.
  • Understanding of general tax accounting, as well as tax reporting, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft, Chrome River, Coupa and Visual lease preferred
  • Financial Acumen: Solid grasp of budgeting, spend analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and support vendor consolidation initiatives.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in processing payments, verifying data, and maintaining compliance with KPIs.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Skilled in cross-functional coordination and serving as a liaison with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and technologies.
  • Project Support: Ability to contribute to budgeting cycles, reporting, and ad hoc projects led by senior leadership.

First Bank generally does not hire at or near the top of the range below. The range is driven by the geographic location of our estimated hiring location; however, the specific range may vary depending on the geographic location for remote positions. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each hiring instance. A reasonable estimate of the current pay: $76,000-$85,000
