Introduction

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented students to join our Lease Administration team as Lease Analyst Intern. This position is open to students taking on an internship as part of their academic requirements. This internship offers practical exposure to the fundamentals of lease management, contract abstraction, and portfolio reporting in the commercial real estate industry.

About the Role

As a Lease Analyst Intern, you will support the team in maintaining accurate lease data and ensuring timely reporting for clients. You will learn how to interpret real estate contracts, abstract key terms, and work with databases that support global portfolio management. Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with the review and abstraction of lease, sublease, and amendment documents.
  • Supporting data entry, updates, and quality checks within lease databases.
  • Helping prepare standard reports and monitoring of key lease dates.
  • Providing support in ad hoc projects, client meeting materials, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contributing to discussions on data accuracy and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Legal Management, Public Policy, Economics and other related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with databases is a plus.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting contractual language.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Interest in developing a career in commercial real estate, lease administration, or corporate legal/compliance functions.
