The Parts City Marketing Coordinator works directly with small business owners and managers to develop personalized local market advertising plans specifically tailored to promote the Parts City brand. This position plays a crucial role in growing retail and professional sales & branding for all Parts City Auto Parts affiliate store locations. The Parts City Auto Parts affiliate program allows O'Reilly to leverage distribution cost by servicing customers in smaller more rural markets along our current delivery routes, which may not support the additional overhead cost associated with an O'Reilly Auto Parts location.

Essential Job Functions

Coordinate and execute all aspects of the Parts City Marketing and Advertising functions.

Develop relationships with team members in related departments and Parts City affiliate program members to facilitate and encourage participation in all Parts City Marketing and Advertising efforts.

Work in conjunction with store ownership as well as our outside sales management team to develop recommendations designed to determine the most effective marketing and advertising tactics designed to increase foot traffic and drive sales to Parts City affiliate stores.

Develop, manage, present, and promote all Parts City advertising programs and Policies and develop measurement tools to gauge their effectiveness and contribution to the company.

Administer Proof of Performance programs, including running and reviewing computer reports, calculation of credits due, issuance of said credits, tracking, and measurement tools to gauge successes.

Work closely with appropriate team members/departments for proofing, editing, and distribution of all forms of external communication to Parts City affiliates. Forms of communication to include but are not limited to, Parts City Consumer Web-Site, Ozark Extranet, and the Ozark Counter Connection newsletter.

Prepare and provide instructions, product information, and proof of performance tracking sheets for all retail and installer fliers to facilitate sales participation and accurate tracking.

Work in conjunction with O’Reilly Marketing and Advertising Departments on a daily basis to evaluate programs and provide input regarding which ones should be forwarded to Parts City affiliates. Provide Jobber Issues Committee and Ozark Sales Management Team with monthly updates and marketing recommendations.

Working one on one with small business owners & managers to develop and execute local market advertising and marketing programs specifically tailored for their individual markets.

Event planning, participation in industry related trade shows, growing independent store participation in corporately sponsored programs, business to business recruitment, social media account management and enhancements, and collaboration with members of the O’Reilly Marketing & Advertising teams to ensure we offer our customers all presented opportunities available.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Prior marketing/advertising training, experience, or schooling desired.

Requires experience with and knowledge of the following software: Excel, Access, and Microsoft Word, Facebook, related social media and digital advertising/marketing programs.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Must present a professional company image and positive attitude.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

English and Spanish preferred.

Must be able to lift packages up to 40 lbs.

Outside sales experience or store management experience in the automotive parts industry preferred.
