The GE9X Design Engineering team is looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer ready to work on the largest and most powerful commercial aircraft engine in the world – the GE9X – as we progress toward entry into service on Boeing’s 777X aircraft.
Within GE9X Design Engineering, the Senior HPT Rotor Design Engineer will support efforts focused on product durability, validation, and entry into service preparations. At this key pre-EIS phase of the GE9X program, it is critical that the team is prepared to identify and execute solutions to improve durability within the high pressure turbine (HPT), including tasks related to the technical improvement of existing components, supporting TOPS8Ds and leading redesigns of rotor hardware. This role requires cross functional collaboration including systems engineering, the product line team, and across Technology & Operations. It is through your efforts that the GE9X program will be well positioned for a successful entry into service.
