Job Description:
3-month positions (May 2026 through August 2026)
15-month position (May 2026 through August 2027)
Duties/Tasks:
Duties at the surface coal mine will be wide and varied, based on needs of the operation. These duties may include all or some of the following:
Applicants will be trained to operate a bucket truck, digger truck, cable reeler, cable tractor, trencher, and other support equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The successful applicant should have a working knowledge of AC and DC circuits, electrical controls, and troubleshooting with and understanding of electrical schematics. Applicants need to have a valid driver’s license, be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and will work rotating shifts.
Educational Requirements:
Enrolled in accredited electrical program and in good academic standing.
