Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Product & Process Technology team for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Supervisor Sensory Research. The position will be based in Bologna.

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Panel Leader Intern to join our consumer science team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in R&D of Smoke free products while leading and coordinating panel discussions and supporting consumer science team activities.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Organize, prepare and lead internal sensory panel sessions taking into account available resources;
• Foster an environment that motivates panellists and maintain their engagement;
• Data Collection and analysis: Collect and consolidate data so it can be further analyzed. Perform basic statistical analysis;
• Content Development: Assist in developing discussion topics, questions, and materials for panel sessions;
• Provide on-site support during panel sessions, including setup, technical assistance, and troubleshooting;
• Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from panelists and attendees to improve future events;
• Support the Consumer science team in Global projects;
• Research: Conduct research on relevant topics and trends.

Who we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate should have:

• University Degree;
• Ability to plan effectively with a strong organizational sense;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitie;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Curious and eager to learn and understand our products;
• Fluency in English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
