Job Description

We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our head office in Jordan. This key role will oversee accounting operations across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of managing full-cycle accounting independently. In addition, you will supervise junior accountants in our Gulf branches and consolidate financial reports at a regional level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions in Jordan, from bookkeeping to final accounts.
  • Supervise and support branch accountants across the Gulf region.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss reports.
  • Oversee internal and external audits to ensure full compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Handle reconciliations, payables, receivables, and payroll for the Jordan office.
  • Provide financial reports and insights to management for decision-making.
  • Liaise with external auditors and government authorities when required.
  • Travel monthly to Gulf branches to perform on-site audits and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in full-cycle accounting.
  • Strong background in auditing and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems).
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage multiple entities and consolidate cross-border accounts.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience managing remote teams or branch accountants.
  • Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing, or logistics industries is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel monthly across the Gulf region.
