Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Quality Engineer who can understand our products from the end-user perspective, and who can ensure the delivery of quality solutions to our customers

What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Quality Engineer, you will be the voice of the customer in coaching and developing our Operation teams. You will also promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, including product and process design within the development phase

Your mission will be to increase customer confidence by ensuring the quality of our future products and processes.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Handling customer claims, coordinating and leading the analysis of products returns, containment actions and root cause problem solving as part of the Corrective Action Process.
• Act as the link between external customers & Operations & Design Engineering teams.
• Provide support in the use of quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D).
• Provide support on Audit systems and processes according to ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 standards.

What We're Looking For

You are open minded and have a strong team spirit and can build relations and cooperate across borders and culture. You have analytical skills, a structured approach and committed on achieving your goals. You are a self-starter, hence being proactive in determining goals and objectives and in pursuing the necessary course of action.

Furthermore

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related area; equivalent related experience will be considered.
• Previous experience from a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with standard quality tools: APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems.
• Practical and proven understanding of technical problem solving (i.e., 8D methodology).
• Fluency in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
