Nature & Purpose of Position

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform intake procedures on devices to be recycled and/or disposed of.
• Perform data sanitization for computer devices.
• Schedule and complete weekly transportation of equipment to property.
• Schedule and complete on-demand transportation of equipment to SHSU satellite locations in The Woodlands and Conroe.
• Responsible for general organization of department space, including stock management and counting.
• Assist full-time employees with managing client requests.
• Complete data entry and analysis in inventory and service management systems.
• Communicate with campus clients and stakeholders via phone, email, and messaging.
• Other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements for the Position

Must be enrolled in a minimum of six semester hours maintaining a minimum SHSU GPA of 2.5. Must be able to demonstrate basic technology competencies regarding hardware and office-related applications. Data Security, Accounting, or Customer Service experience preferred.
