We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Summer Intern to join our Wealth Service Delivery Team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Summer Internship Program

The BNY Summer Internship Program provides high-potential students with a well-rounded, rewarding 10-week internship experience, as well as an inside look into what it is like to work for a global financial services organization that has been innovating and serving clients since 1784. With projects specifically chosen to both challenge and develop participants, our summer interns will gain valuable real-world experiences while learning to work together in collaborative teams and building a robust network within BNY.

From day one, summer interns are immersed in BNY’s innovative and dynamic company culture as they will receive:

• Enterprise-led intern orientation program combined with ongoing an executive speaker series and virtual training curriculum designed specifically for summer interns

Wealth Service Delivery

Wealth Service Delivery at BNY provides operational support, exceptional client service, and technical expertise across the full lifecycle of Investment Management and Private Banking accounts. Our team combines deep industry knowledge with an agile and innovative approach to deliver timely, effective execution while maintaining a strong risk-mitigating environment. With approximately 400 employees primarily based at our Pittsburgh campus, we are committed to excellence in service and operational efficiency.

Internship Opportunities:

Interns may be placed within one of the following Service Delivery groups, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to key functions supporting Wealth clients and internal partners:

• Banking Operations: Support Private Banking deposit services including account opening, online support, regulatory and tax compliance, and general servicing. Some teams engage directly with clients, providing a hybrid model of operational support and client communication.
• Investment Operations: Deliver best-in-class service to Investment Management accounts, focusing on risk controls and supporting client-facing teams through account onboarding and ongoing processing.
• Middle Office Support Services: Act as an extension of the Front Office by managing account activities throughout the account lifecycle, bringing control and consistency to both internal teams and external clients.
• Operations – Wealth Services Platform: Provide service and support for investment accounts on our Trust Accounting & Custody platform (SEI/TRUST 3000), for daily account asset and cash management.
• Premier Client Implementation: Deliver white-glove onboarding experiences for Wealth clients, facilitating the preparation and distribution of account documentation.
• Specialized Solutions: Drive innovation and business optimization through Robotics, Process Solutions, Program Management, Digital Business Solutions (e.g., DocuSign), and Technical Level 1 Triage support.
• Wealth Know Your Customer (KYC)/AML & Account Opening: Identify and mitigate KYC, AML, reputation, and regulatory risks while managing the opening of Investment Management and Private Banking accounts.

Program eligibility:

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
