1. Lead tooling design review activities and provide leadership and expertise in product manufacturability, collaborate on DFM/Moldflow initiatives including setting targets and standards.
2. Lead moulding issue root causing, debugging and resolving from NPI to MP stages, preventing cosmetic risks in tooling design review phase.
3. Collaborate with suppliers management, product design, industrial design, quality team, and Mechanical engineering team on material selection, design feasibility and aesthetics of new plastic part & tooling designs.
4. Drive suppliers to properly meet the expectations of programs, including lead-times, schedules, manufacturing capacities and quality.
5. Develop collaborative relationships with suppliers through training and quality control visits. Advise supplier factory on maintaining correct controls on the processes.
6. Experienced in video & outdoor products, capable to lead suppliers on the tool design and process development and tool qualifications to meet a wide range of product performance and cosmetic requirements.
7. Proficient in Creo/ Moldflow software ability and able to provide the part design feasibility assessment in advance and a better solution to meet both design and manufacturing.
