Basic Job Functions:

We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. Some responsibilities of this position include being a leader in the areas of Safety, Reliability, Team Development, Cost Control, and Project Management. Additionally, the role requires the development and execution of reliability-based maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance of equipment related to plant operations in multiple applications. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Demonstrated experience in team development and maintenance system management.
2. Thorough understanding of industrial maintenance principles associated with steel plant processes.
3. Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
2. Understanding of crane/industrial mobile equipment maintenance.
3. Leadership experience.
4. Bilingual, English-Spanish speaker.
