Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Control and Automation Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Katowice, Poland.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Provide Instrumentation and Control System engineering design support to multidiscipline teams on maintenance, expansion, and new construction projects.
  • Participate in site evaluations and data collection.
  • Participate in P&ID development and the creation of all associated lists (i.e. instruments lists, etc.)
  • Assist in the preparation of equipment specifications and instrument data sheets.
  • Update motor schematics, loop drawings, layout drawings and instrument location drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of PLC, DCS and HMI programming and functional descriptions.
  • Provide on-site construction, commissioning, and start-up support.

You bring to the role:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with an interest in Controls or Computer Science.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to achieving engineering excellence.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to various practical problems.
  • A desire to learn and continually develop.
  • Strong personal commitment to safety.
  • Previous Co-op or Internship experience is an asset.
