Join the Utah Data Coordinating Center (DCC) as a Data Architect, where your work will directly enable innovative clinical research at the University of Utah and across national partners. The Data Architect will play a key role in designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance data infrastructure that supports the full range of research and operational activities at the Utah DCC. This includes developing and orchestrating modern data pipelines, integrating systems across research domains, and ensuring alignment with performance, security, and compliance standards. The Data Architect will lead the modernization of legacy data workflows to cloud-native architecture and evaluate emerging tools and frameworks to support future-state infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects in collaboration with software engineers, research faculty, and external partners. Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
