NCS Engineering mandate is to deliver mission critical data driven and edge solutions which will impact sectors in Defence Homeland Security, Public Sector, Communication Media Technology, Aviation, Commercial and Transport.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior System Engineer to lead the solutioning, development, and delivery of Counter-Unmanned Autonomous Systems (C-UAS) projects. This role will spearhead a team of engineers to design, integrate, and implement C-UAS solutions tailored to our clients’ operational requirements. The successful candidate will proactively build expertise in the rapidly evolving C-UAS domain and leverage strong industry networks to propose and deliver best-in-class solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, integration, testing, and deployment of C-UAS solutions.
  • Understand user operational requirements and translate them into technical system solutions.
  • Proactively research and keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and threats in the C-UAS landscape.
  • Engage with industry partners, vendors, and technology providers to evaluate new capabilities and solutions.
  • Develop system architectures and technical proposals for C-UAS projects, ensuring optimal balance of performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Drive end-to-end system engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Manage technical risks and issues, providing timely resolution and mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for C-UAS capabilities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and technical forums to stay connected with stakeholders and maintain market awareness.

The ideal profile should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in defense, aerospace, security, or complex sensor and communication system
  • Good understanding and working experience in the C-UAS domain, including relevant technologies such as radar, RF sensors, electro-optical/infrared systems, RF jamming/spoofing, and integrated command-and-control systems.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex engineering solutions.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and propose technical solutions tailored to operational requirements.
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving technologies and operational scenarios.
  • Past military experience especially in UAV and air defence operations preferred
