A Little More About The role:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director, ICHRA Financial Operations to lead our team through a critical period of growth and transformation. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running in preparation for peak season payments, delivery of financial statements, and in support of Gravie’s next generation ICHRA product and technology platform.
You will:
- Lead cross-functional planning, coordination, and communication efforts for peak season payments, with a focus on setup and execution.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of ICHRA financial statements including:
o First month funding reconciliation statements
o Premium Contributions statements
o Admin fee invoices
- Coordinate the efforts of ICHRA Payments and FinOps leaders and team in support of the NextGen administration platform.
- Partner with the Operations and Financial leads and Product and Technology teams to build out core payment operations functionality.
- Support vendor evaluations and partnership efforts associated with ICHRA payments. Focus on key payment platform features including authorizations, controls, and reporting.
- Drive the completion of high-impact ICHRA financial and payment operations improvements. Focus areas will include:
o Financial controls
o Key performance indicator analysis and reporting
o Auto pay setup processes and reporting
o Quality, audit, and operational monitoring initiatives
o Knowledgebase updates and maintenance
o Efficiency analysis and enhancements
- Support the development and deployment efforts of the new ICHRA issue escalation process and functions.
- Lead and manage various strategic teams within the ICHRA Ops function, including Payments, Financial Operations, and NextGen design, testing, and deployment.
- Partner with ICHRA Account Management teams to mitigate escalations and provide executive engagement during sensitive broker and/or client conversations
- Oversee compliance strategies related to ICHRA operations and payments, keeping a close eye on regulatory changes and state-specific requirements.
- Support key initiatives focused on VFA audits and reconciliations, employment-related changes and their impacts, HRA tier audits, attestations, recoupments.
- Design and maintain operational dashboards and deliver regular performance insights to the business. .
- Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative, empathetic and outcome oriented.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of operational leadership experience in banking, healthcare, insurance, or benefits administration.
- Deep understanding of ICHRA and/or healthcare reimbursement models.
- Deep understanding of payment models and platforms.
- A track record of successfully managing high-volume, time-sensitive operations during seasonal peaks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity, a collaborative style, and a self-directed approach.

The salary range for this position is $139,835 - $233,059 annually. Numerous factors including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. will be considered when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, this position is also eligible to participate in Gravie’s annual bonus program.
