Job Title: QA Sanitation Lead

Job Description

This role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in a food manufacturing environment. The QA Sanitation Lead will be responsible for overseeing the sanitation processes and procedures, focusing on HACCP, GMP, and raw materials management. Additionally, the role includes maintaining documentation, implementing SOPs, and ensuring the effective operation of metal detectors and quality review on production lines.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee HACCP and GMP protocols.
  • Manage raw materials and ensure proper documentation.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for sanitation and quality control.
  • Operate and maintain metal detectors.
  • Conduct quality reviews on production lines.
  • Apply the 7 steps of cleaning process.
  • Calculate concentration levels of chemical cleaners.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in microbiology and HACCP.
  • Experience in inspection and sampling.
  • Strong cleaning and swabbing skills.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, HACCP, and GMP guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or greater.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills across departments.

Work Environment

The role is set in a production environment where you will be required to walk different lines and collect samples for testing. The position involves working third shift from Monday to Friday, starting between 7/8pm and ending at 3:30/4:30am, or a seniorrole from Sunday to Thursday from 8pm to 4:30am. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.25 - $26.50/hr.
