Assists with customer service at the Dorothy Hamil Skating Rink. Reports to a Recreation Supervisor/Recreation Leader.
This is a seasonal position, scheduled for 10-25 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven computer and phone skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with public and staff in a courteous manner.
Willingness to obtain certification in CPR/AED and first aid.
Greets and assists the public as they utilize the skating rink.
Directs the public to various programs on site.
Assists with setup and breakdown of different programs when assigned.
Provides information to the public either through phone or in-person.
Answers the phone.
May provide first aid attention, and completes accident reports when required.
Monitors the security of the building and takes corrective measures if there is a problem by calling police, or talking to the involved parties; completes incident reports when required.
Apprises Recreation Supervisor/Recreation Leader and custodial staff of necessary repairs or unsafe conditions when observed or reported.
Performs additional work as assigned.
