We’re seeking someone to join our team as Data Analytics Engineer will be a part of our FRPPE- FinTech team, to will play a key role in helping transform how Morgan Stanley operates

Risk Technology

Risk Technology supports the aggregation and monitoring of risks across all global business and products. We own cross-asset applications and services to support and enable risk management consolidation, calculation, analysis and reporting, federal marking, model inventory control, limit setting, and frameworks monitoring. In addition, these services are used to meet global regulatory requirements.

Data & Analytics Engineering

This is Vice President position that provides specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

What you’ll do in the role:

Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.

Help plan and implement large scale data modernization

Lead a group of developers across time zones in completing planned activities

Develop and support of data pipelines

Ensure high quality product with timely delivery What you'll bring to the role:

Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.

Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.

What you’ll bring to the role:

12-15 years of career work experience in Distributed data development

Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (i.e., Data modelling, data transformations)

Hands on experience with Spark, Snowflake and/or Databricks

Strong Skills in Relational Databases and writing complex SQL

Good programming skills with any programming language

Good understanding of Unix shell scripting

Knowledge about DevOps implementation in data space

6+ years of relevant experience to perform this role.
