Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as Vice President our Integrated Infrastructure Observability team as an AI/ML Software Engineer in Enterprise Network Services to perform as the lead developer for the teams artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives.

Enterprise_Technology

Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

This is Vice President position that provides specialist data analysis and expertise that drive decision-making and business insights as well as crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, optimizing data processes for improved data accuracy and accessibility, including applying machine learning and AI-based techniques.

What you’ll do in the role:

Enterprise Computing (EC) Enterprise Network Services Enables Morgan Stanley Business Units and Technology partners with secure, programmable, resilient, highly available network and voice services. Workplace Operations & Support This is VP position that delivers efficient technical support and ensures smooth operations of the organization & workplace environment for end-users, including hardware, software, and network resources.

  • Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives. Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.
  • Lead the design and development of complex software systems and applications.
  • Architect solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmap and technical strategy.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C. Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex test scenarios.
  • Python coding/programming skills.
  • Any of the relational database exp.
  • Machine learning, AI/ML, NLP etc
  • Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
  • Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in software design and architecture.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Expertise in performance optimization and scalability.
  • Ability to drive technical initiatives and provide leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
