Job Description

• Extend your horizon: You are tasked with designing and simulating a micro-controller (µC) in a Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic (GTEM) environment, specifically within the septum, to conduct radiated and emission tests
• Focus on the future: You will investigate the radiated electric field emitted from the µC into the septum of the GTEM cell, to determine the optimal settings for EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) simulations
• Important analyses: You will analyze a better heat sink design for the µC to achieve the required EMC standards
• Reliable work: You are required to develop a correlation between simulation and actual measurement results to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Keep the overview: You will prepare concise experiment reports, including plots and tables, document the code used, and present the findings in a clear and comprehensive manner

Your Profile

• Study field: You are currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Know-How: You are familiar with semiconductors and electronics, with a solid understanding of the underlying principles and concepts
• Personality: You are self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and take on new challenge and enjoy reading technical data
• Way of working: You have a structured and precise working style
• Softskills: You bring good communication and organizational skills
• Language skills: You have Good written and spoken English and German language skills for technical documentation and discussions
