As a Data Center Thermal Systems Engineer on the Data Center Technology and Systems (DCTS) team, you will play a key role in developing, analyzing, and optimizing the mechanical cooling infrastructure for Google's next-generation data centers. You will use various investigative tools to reveal important data points in the design process for efficient mechanical systems and articulate complex ideas concisely across all digital mediums. You will provide recommendations to cross-functional engineers and architects to enhance our data centers' mechanical systems and accelerate construction.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
