This Position reports to:

Principal Technical Consultant

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions business in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• EDevelop new concept/solutions in 3D to be incorporated into the MV SWG product family.
• Applies Design Thinking / Design for Excellence concepts in MV projects, including modelling, proto-typing, simulations, and calculations.
• Develops, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and tools to ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.
• Work with multicultural teams to develop next generation of Switchgears.

Qualifications for the role.

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (desirable), electro-mechanical / mechanical-electrician engineer or similar.
• 2+ Years of Experience in 3D Mechanical Design
• Solid works (sheet metal) or CREO (sheet metal) or AutoCAD proficiency
• Excel proficiency.
• Electrical knowledge or experience is plus.
• Advanced English required
