Position Summary:
IT Helpdesk Analyst Intern
Office of Information Technology Services (OITS)
The Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) is seeking an IT Helpdesk Analyst Intern to join our Service Desk team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support while contributing to the delivery of high-quality technical services for state agencies, partners, and affiliates.
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals to support users with hardware, software, and system-related issues. You will also develop technical skills, customer service abilities, and knowledge of enterprise-level IT operations in a collaborative environment.
Under supervision and with appropriate training, the intern will:
Currently pursuing a degree, certification, or technical training in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
High school diploma or GED required.
This internship is a great entry point for students or early-career professionals looking to start a career in IT support or systems administration. You'll gain real-world experience while supporting the technology needs of a dynamic government organization.
Necessary Special Requirements: Ability to obtain and retain an OITS Security and KCJIS clearances are the requirements of employment and continued employment.
