Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

Join an internationally recognized leader in space robotics and satellite systems. You will be part of an international program, contributing to the development of vision systems that are crucial in space exploration and technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components using C++ and C# in a Windows environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems engineers, hardware engineers, and QA.
• Develop tools, scripts, and utilities to support software testing and validation.
• Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing in simulated and hardware environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced development cycle.
• Document technical specifications and maintain code versioning using Git.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and C#.
• Software Testing Experience, preferably manual testing.
• Ability to interact with hardware.
• Experience with Windows OS.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development and testing.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Exposure to mission or safety-critical environments.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring 3 days on-site from the Kanata office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
