POSITION:

Sr. Advanced R&D engineer – Aero CS

Skills/Qualifications: Sr. Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer – Aero Adv. Control Systems (CS)

QUALIFICATION:

M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 11-12 years of Experience. Aerospace products Mechanical Analysis experience is must.

EXPERIENCE: 11-14 Years

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Working towards outlined objectives, plans, directs and coordinates assigned technical projects from conception and proposal through the completion of qualification testing and successful introduction into service.
  • Design to cost, producibility, reliability, testability, maintainability, etc.
  • Conduct engineering analyses including structural, CFD and thermal FEA using (ANSYS/NX) tools, utilizing engineering principles, research data and product specifications.
  • Direct the production of prototypes and mock-ups/Engineering Development Units and conduct or oversee verification/margin testing to validate design concepts.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary team including other engineers, designers, technicians, program management and production staff to optimize utilization of time and resources.
  • Perform design, modeling and engineering drawings of mechanical components and systems. Knowledge on GD&T is must.
  • Provide design guidance and support to the entire integrated supply chain, including production, purchasing and customer support.
  • Support assessment and selection of relevant suppliers, vendors and their products as well as supplier transitions and supplier manufacturing difficulties.
  • Interface with customers regarding mechanical requirements, specifications and performance of existing products.

Skills Requirement:

  • Exhibits expertise in mechanical design engineering principles, concepts, practices, and theories.
  • Expert in engineering analyses including structural, CFD and thermal FEA using (ANSYS/NX) tools
  • Matured design thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
  • Expert in 3D modeling using ProE, Catia, or equivalent CAD package is desired
    • Mentor junior engineers
    • Contribute / drive on Growth and innovation for lighting product lines
    • Contribute / drive / implement process improvement ideas, productivity save, quality
