Solution Architect – Architecture Chapter Lead for the Welcoming Cluster

Danske Bank

Job Description

Do you want to be at the forefront of transforming the customer welcoming experiences in the financial sector? Join us as a Software/Solution Architect – Architecture Chapter Lead in the Welcoming & Orchestration Tribe and help us reshape and transform our solutions, driving the evolution of software architecture.

Your daily contribution

As a Solution Architect – Architecture Chapter Lead you will have two overall responsibilities.

As an architecture chapter lead in the Welcoming cluster, you will lead a cluster of two architects working in the welcoming domain. You will be the caretaker of the architecture governance & target architecture for the welcoming domain, where the goal is to balance deliveries and business needs while taking care of building a future-proof & scalable set of capabilities.

As a solution architect in Welcoming, you will be designing and leading the development of the new welcoming solutions, alongside both technical and business stakeholders. You will be part of defining new features and services, functional & non-functional requirements, taking technical responsibility for the current and future state of the services within that squad.

Who are you?

You are a leader and want to be involved in the decision-making process, contributing technical insights to your business counterparts. You are a great communicator and like spearheading, explaining, and socializing the target architecture and solution designs. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, become an integral part of their domain and share their knowledge with all our colleagues. We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience as a solution/software architect, who has formally or informally also had the technical leadership for a particular domain or system before.

Qualifications

  • Advanced communication and documentation skills - the ability to create clarity for both business and tech-savvy stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience with Architectural Design and Modelling, Domain Driven Design, Design Patterns and CI-CD principles.
  • Experience in designing event driven architectures, micro-services and APIs.
  • Solid development and coding experience (.NET or Java, full stack would be a plus), specifically building services in cloud technologies.
  • Experience building highly available and scalable solutions.
  • The ability to solve, and explain how to solve, problems in a simple way.

If you do not have the exact profile that we are looking for but have something equivalent? Do not hesitate to apply, we appreciate diversity and that everyone can have a different trajectory and skillset to bring on.

This position can be located both in Lithuania and Denmark. If the position is located in Lithuania the monthly salary range will be from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
