Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. ServiceNow Administrator with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience administering and supporting the ServiceNow platform in a mid-to-large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, alignment to ITIL standards, and a seamless user experience.

You Will:

  • Administer and maintain all core modules within ServiceNow, including but not limited to: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, Asset (HAM&SAM), Employee Experience and Service Catalog.
  • Perform advanced configuration and development of forms, workflows, client/server scripts, notifications, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Partner with process owners to design and implement solutions within the platform that support business needs and align with industry best practices.
  • Maintain data integrity and perform regular audits of the CMDB, discovery results, and related data sets.
  • Manage platform upgrades, patches, and releases, ensuring customizations are preserved and issues are proactively addressed.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for stakeholders and process owners.
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation across all levels of the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and vendors on platform enhancements and third-party integrations (e.g., Active Directory, SCCM, HR systems, monitoring tools).
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Maintain proper change management procedures and documentation in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree may be considered).
  • Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow administration experience, including working with major modules and platform development.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and experience working in ITSM environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, Script Includes, and Integration Hub.
  • Experience with Discovery, CMDB management, and data reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and system health checks.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required. Additional certifications (ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, HRSD, or CSM) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within DevOps toolchains is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is an onsite role working at our Newark, CA Headquarters.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$123,200—$169,400 USD
