DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Export Operations PanProgram Product team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to revolutionize our global logistics solutions. You'll drive innovative cross-border transportation initiatives that enable Amazon and its sellers to reach customers worldwide. Based in Bellevue, WA, you'll partner with both technical and non-technical teams to develop and execute multi-year roadmaps while delivering continuous process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to define the vision for how sellers expand and grow in North America, solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to define strategy, vision and roadmap for growing existing products and scaling them globally
  • Work backwards from seller needs to develop innovative products that drive large-scale business improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed product, business and UX requirements for complex product launches
  • Lead investment, prioritization and trade-off discussions
  • Manage project milestones from design to launch
  • Identify and measure product and business metrics to drive improvements
  • Own overall product experience and financial performance

A day in the life

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll start your day reviewing key metrics and progress on ongoing initiatives. You might meet with engineering teams to discuss technical feasibility of new features, then collaborate with UX designers on wireframes for an upcoming release. Later, you could present a strategic roadmap to senior leadership, incorporating data-driven insights to influence decision making. You'll spend time analyzing seller feedback and market trends to identify new opportunities for innovation. Throughout the day, you'll communicate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and progress on various workstreams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
