We are currently seeking a Lead Engineer to join our team in North Ryde. The Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the Building Management System (BMS) engineering design team for a major project in delivering the engineering outcomes related to Building Management Systems across the entire project.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project engineering management team on delivery of integrated building management systems
• Ensure that designs and as-constructed work comply with client functional and legislative requirements and adhere to design and engineering policies, processes, and standards
• Facilitate the review and approval of BMS engineering and technical designs and related documentation
• Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the building management system
• Participate in design reviews and safety audits, ensuring the consistent application of standards and technical excellence and provide highest level technical input for improved design solutions

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in engineering or a related discipline from an Australian University or equivalent. (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics)
• 10+ years of experience in control system projects (preference in Building Management Control Systems) with extensive on-site knowledge
• Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of control system projects.
• Knowledge of networking, storage and database technology and trends in IT would be highly advantageous
• Previous experience working with highly complex control and automation systems
