Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Project Manager with Electrical Engineering experience to join our team. This hybrid role combines traditional project management responsibilities with hands-on technical work. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing project timelines, scope, and documentation while also contributing to engineering tasks such as test development and LabVIEW-based automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules.
• Track project progress and milestones, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Document project issues, risks, and scope changes in a timely and organized manner.
• Manage scope changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Address customer complaints by identifying and documenting root causes, particularly when delays are customer-related.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Support and contribute to electrical engineering tasks, including test development and system validation.
• Design and implement automated test systems using LabVIEW.
• Provide technical input during project planning and execution phases.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Ensure engineering work aligns with project goals and timelines.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in project management.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW.
• Experience in PCBA test development and engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as MS Project or Jira.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to balance strategic project oversight with hands-on technical execution.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
