Job Title: Wrap Desk Operator

Seeking a motivated Wrap Desk Operator to join our team. The Wrap Desk Operator is responsible for the operation, cleaning, and light maintenance of the equipment that finishes the product for commercial distribution. The Wrap Desk operator is also responsible for wrapping pallets, writing up the pallet tag(unique identifier), RF scan the pallets, write up the production and trailer tallies and inspecting product to ensure adherence to specifications. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. In the absence of the wrap desk operator, another wrap desk operator will serve as backup.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

• Verification of materials and codes to ensure adherence to specifications and record necessary information on appropriate forms.
• Data-entry of SKU, lot code, and expiration date information onto appropriate forms, documentation, and RF system.
• Operation of Wrap Desk includes but not limited to the automatic shrink wrapper, RF scanner, and label printer.
• Trained in the Nestle HACCP program in order to identify critical steps and their instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
• Must adhere to all company GMP regulations.

SKILLS:

• Computer literate
• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
• Have basic mechanical skills.
